Austin High School Continuing Education Foundation
The Stephen F. Austin High School Continuing Education Foundation
was created in 1994 to provide assistance to current students who
may be at risk of dropping out of school due to financial hardships
and to provide scholarships for post-high school education.

The foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization which has raised
over $100,000, primarily through individual contributions, to provide
scholarships for deserving students. Donations may be made by
check or online through the foundation's
Web site. Marty Douglas
Rosenfield, Class of '62, has been very active in the organization and
currently serves as its treasurer.

Celebrating 50 Years
The 50th Reunion of the Class of '62 was April 20-21, 2012.  Enjoy pictures
from Serranos at Symphony Square where classmates and guests gathered
Friday night and
more pictures from Saturday night's event at the UT Alumni
Center! What a great turnout -- we had over 265 in attendance. Check here
to see who registered to come.

As a result of the large attendance and the generous Maroon Angel gifts,
our class was able to donate $5,000 to the Austin High School Continuing
Education Foundation in memory of our deceased classmates. More
information about the foundation appears below.

If you could not come, but would like a directory to see where everyone is
and what they have been doing for the past fifty years, a few are still
available. Send a check for $10 payable to "Class of '62" to Sarah Burcham
Tapley, 3107 Riva Ridge Road, Austin TX 78746, and we will be glad to
send one to you.

Also, a video of the reunion is available  for $33.95 by calling Raines Video
Productions at 1-800-654-8277.

More  pictures are being posted as we have time. Check back often! (And
you might have to refresh your browser to get new pictures!)

now the home of Austin Community College
It's fun to see how Austin has grown since we graduated in 1962. From the town that was dominated by the legislature and
the university (and very quiet when they were not in session), Austin has evolved into a vibrant and exciting city. Enjoy the
history and culture, entertainment venues, shopping and dining, and recreational and outdoor activities that Austin has to
offer.
